Sheba Distribution SRL, a Garmin representative in Romania, has the pleasure to announce the availability of the newest edition of the Digital Atlas of Romania v6.30, RO.A.D.2014.30.

Continuând în tradiţia binecunoscută deja clienţilor Garmin din România, Atlasul Digital al României se menţine în continuare pe locul I în clasamentul hărţilor de navigaţie rutieră, aducând în plus faţă de ediţia precedentă 9.701,93 km de drumuri, ridicând la un total de 353.473,10 km de căi de comunicaţii acoperirea în teritoriu, cu acoperire îmbogăţită semnificativ în judeţele Bacău, Braşov, Sibiu, Olt, Teleorman şi Dolj, iar numărul de informaţii de tip punct se ridică în această ediţie la 400.473 puncte împărţite în 506 de categorii.

RO.A.D.2014.30 este singura hartă de navigaţie din lume care combină detalii topo cu o structură de drumuri rutabilă – la nivel inclusiv de drumuri de pământ şi poteci – cu adrese poştale de o precizie neegalată, oraşe cu blocuri 3D şi modele minuţios realizate la construcţii vechi, de patrimoniu, sau noi, definitorii pentru peisajul urban actual. Actualizările la hartă sunt constante şi consistente de la o ediţie la alta şi sunt documentate în Jurnalul Hărţii, în care sunt trecute contribuţiile şi autorii acestora, datele la care s-au efectuat precum şi denumirile localităţilor şi planşelor afectate.

S-au introdus zonele exclusive pietonale din Târgu Jiu, Turnu Măgurele, Zimnicea şi Caransebeş, s-au introdus trasee şi marcaje turistice din judeţul Vrancea, s-au adăugat unele sensuri unice noi şi 40 (patruzeci) sensuri giratorii noi.

Galeria modelelor 3D texturate s-a îmbogăţit cu reconstituirea ideală a Cetăţii Romano-Bizantine Troesmis-Est de la Turcoaia.

Pasionaţii de istorie vor descoperi în această ediţie în premieră elementele de detaliu ale fortificaţiei culturii Turdaş de la Râu Alb-Cetate, ale unui castru roman de marş inedit la Ceraşu-Vârfu lui Crai, ale unui castru roman inedit de pământ de legiune la Ceraşu-Piscul de la Muchia Gămăliei, ale castellum-urilor romane de pământ şi piatră de la Voislova-Pons Augusti, ale unui posibil castru de pământ de la Ruşor-Comandă, ale unei fortificaţii dreptunghiulare şi uneia octogonale la SE de Râu Alb, a două posibile castre de marş inedite la Hobiţa-Faţa Dealului, ale turnului roman de la Vătava, ale davei dacice de la Ideciu de Sus-Groapa lui Ivan, ale unei fortificaţii de pământ inedite de la Vama Buzăului-Pfaffenschanze, ale taberei medievale târzii de la Miorcani-Zamca, ale fortificaţiilor moderne austriece de la Tălmaciu, traseul fostei căi ferate ruseşti de la 1877-1878 între Zimnicea şi Frăţeşti, o cazemată românească şi tranşee din primul război mondial la Comăneşti precum şi tranşee, probabil germane WWI, la Nicolae Bălcescu (TL).
